Somebunny Loves You

Howdy y'all!

Mary Ellen here from Creative Time With ME! I have an adorable bordering on elegant Easter card to share with you!

  1. I began creating this card by bringing out some white cardstock that had adhesive sheet on the back
  2. Then I brought out my Martha Stewart bunny punch
  3. After punching out about 10+ bunnies I stacked them onto each other
  4. Then I stamped the sentiment onto the card front
  5. Going back to the paper bunnies. I brought out my T-square ruler to help me make sure that my bunny was straight
  6. Next I glued the tear shaped Dew Drops onto the card front to create a heart shape
  7. I then brought out a pen to help create the illusion that the Dew Drops were carrots
  8. Finally I put the second bunny onto the card front
  9. And to finish things off I attached the card front to the base

Stamps: Colorado Craft Company Bunnies & Robin
Paper: CTMH White Daisy
Ink: MFT Extreme Black
Accessories: Martha Stewart Medium Sitting Bunny punch, The Robin's Nest Plumeria Dew Drops, ARTEZA Inkonic Pens

A Whole WATT

Howdy y'all!

Today over at the Make My Monday challenge blog. We have a NEW challenge which is to do create a Clean and Simple card.

Close to My Heart had a smaller light bulb stamp than Spellbinders. But it also had this cute sentiment. So I took the sentiment and combined it with the Spellbinders stamp. Then I brought out my alcohol markers and did a bit of coloring. Finally to finish off this piece I doodled the glow from the light bulb.

Stamps: CTMH A Little Bit of Pun, Spellbinders Wink Wink
Paper: CTMH White Daisy
Ink: CTMH Archival Black
Accessories: Spectrum Noir Triblend Blue Turquoise, Dark Red, Ice Grey

Today is the 3rd day I am participating in The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge! I have found it to be great motivation to work on my coloring. Have you had a chance to play along?

For this card, I started out by stamping the bird. I stamped him on both the card base and a Post-It. Then I took the Post-It and turned it into a paper mask by fussy cutting the bird out. I put the mask over the stamped image. And then I built the background on top of it. When I removed the paper mask it looks like the bird is in the foreground. I used alcohol markers for coloring him.

Thinking of You

Howdy!

Today's card is being entered into the following challenges:
Impression Obsession Challenge - Tag You're It!
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Simon Says: Anything Goes
Sunday Stamps SSC225 BRIGHT AND BOLD
Southern Girls Challenge ~ Anything Goes
QKR Stampede Challenge #387
CARDZ TV ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE #109

To create this card. I used my Stamp Perfect stamping platform, to stamp the IO Elegant Feathers stamp. Once the background was to my liking. I then stamped the sentiment onto some cardstock. And then punched a hole in it using my Crop-a-dile. After that I attached a small eyelet and then ran my black bakers twine through it. When that was done I used some foam tape to pop the tag up. And once that was done, I realized that the tag felt like it was missing something. So I brought out my Sharpie marker and drew lines.

Stamps: IO Elegant Feathers
Paper: CTMH White Daisy
Ink: CTMH Intense Black, Pansy, Emerald, Evergreen, Eggplant

Abstract He(ART)

Howdy!

Today's card uses the Impression Obsession stamp My Person. I also used the ink smooshing technique to create the heart. And as for the heart in the word PERSON, I colored that in using Arteza's Real Brush Pen. I also, drew the arrows in pencil and then went over them with a Sharpie and a Uniball Signo pen.

This card is being entered into the Try It On Tuesday challenge blog. Which is to do White Space or Colourful Grunge. Along with Impression Obsession's blog challenge which is to Have a Heart!

I also am entering this card into the Festive Friday Challenge #FF0051. The list items in my card are: hearts, pink, and arrows.

Stamps: Impression Obsession My Person
Paper: Canson XL Watercolor
Ink: CTMH Intense Black, Raspberry, Pixie
Accessories: Arteza Real Brush Pens Red, Sharpie Med Black, Uniball Signo Silver, Spellbinders Media Mixage Hearts One
