February Card Hoppin' 2021

 Howdy y'all!

Today I am participating in the

I can't wait to see what the rest of the hop looks like! I know there are a lot of YouTube videos taking place.

The Hop List is

For my card today I used acetate or rather transparency film! Which I paired with my favorite color black! To create this fun shaker card with the help of some dies! I put a random selection of sequins inside the HAPPY die cut. Next I took a Lawn Fawn stamp set for the rest of the sentiment. Then I applied adhesive to the back of all the elements of the card. Finally, I brought out a SHARPIE and doodled a box around the sentiments!

The best tip I have for creating a card like this is to take your dies and a T-square ruler to align the letters. Also if you are doing a word like HAPPY but you only have 1 P then use another letter die to help with alignment. And if you are die cutting a word I recommend putting some low tack tape down to hold the letters together!

Stamps: Lawn Fawn Let's Bokeh
Paper: CTMH White Daisy, Black, 3M Write-on Transparency Film
Ink: Gina K Amalgam Obsidian
Accessories: SHARPIE Ultra Fine Point, CTMH Block Alphabet die

Love You So Much

 Howdy!

It's Mary Ellen from Creative Time With MEI have an awesome card tutorial in time for Valentine's Day!

This card starts out with Mineral Paper and Bic Markers. The paper was cut down to A2 size (4.25x5.5). Then I scribbled the markers onto the paper. Afterwards I brought out some denatured alcohol and a camera lens cleaner to blow the ink around. Then I put PiƱata Rich Gold ink onto the paper and added more alcohol which was blown. When I was happy with the way it looked, I brought out dies to cut the paper. A heart die cut for the Mineral Paper. I also used black cardstock and fun foam for the sentiment. The cardstock was run through my Xyron, so it had a sticky back which I peeled off and placed on top of the fun foam. I applied a glue runner onto the back of the heart. And for the sentiment I placed Bearly Art glue on the back. Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment onto some Candy Apple cardstock. Which I then cut by hand into a banner. To complete the card I applied glue on the top of the black cardstock to make the sentiments level.

Stamps: Hero Arts Love Stamp & Cut
Paper: CTMH White Daisy, Black, Candy Apple, Yasutomo Mineral Paper
Ink: Gina K Amalgam Obsidian
Accessories: Bic Markers, Darice Nesting Hearts, Pinata Rich Gold

The process video for this card!

I Love You Circuit

 Howdy y'all!

It's Mary Ellen from Creative Time With ME! And I have this uniquely geeky Valentine's Day card to share with y'all!

The Make Art Stay-tion held onto the black cardstock and stencil. I then took a ink blending tool with domed foam applicators to apply the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink. Next I stamped the sentiment using Gina K ink and a MISTI. After which I used the Heart die in my Sizzix Sidekick. Once that was complete I placed foam tape on the backside of the heart which I placed on the card front. Finally, I applied Bearly Art glue to attach the Dew Drops

Stamps: Dare 2B Artzy Rewrite the Stars
Paper: CTMH Black, Bazzill Raspberry Splash
Ink: Gina K Amalgam Obsidian, Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Lucky Clover
Accessories: Heffy Doodle Love Circuit stencil; The Robin's Nest Dew Drops Mardi Gras, Black; Ecstasy Crafts Nellie's Choice Multi Frame Heart dies
