Today is the 3rd day I am participating in The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge! I have found it to be great motivation to work on my coloring. Have you had a chance to play along?
For this card, I started out by stamping the bird. I stamped him on both the card base and a Post-It. Then I took the Post-It and turned it into a paper mask by fussy cutting the bird out. I put the mask over the stamped image. And then I built the background on top of it. When I removed the paper mask it looks like the bird is in the foreground. I used alcohol markers for coloring him.
