Howdy!
Today's card is being submitted into the
Lawn Fawn blog challenge 70 Which is the Lots of Love Inspiration Board. I am also entering it into the
Simon Says Stamp With Love challenge.
I love today's card. It might be because the dogs in it remind me of my own. Or it may be the rainbow hearts. Either way, I do.
This is a gift my sister-in-law and her husband (the artist) created that helps give an impression of our dogs.
To create this card, I'll start with the watercolor piece. I started that by pulling out my watercolor piece and laying it onto my Make Art Stay-tion. Which let me tell you is one of my favorite pieces in the craftroom. It's as important a tool as my stamp perfect tool, paper trimmer and scissors. I then pulled out my stencil. After setting it up on the stay-tion. I pulled out the inks and
ink daubers that you apply to your fingers. After the ink was applied, I then used my water bottle and sprayed.
The next thing I did was to stamp the dogs and color them in. Once that was done, I then fussy cut them out. I also stamped the dogs on the watercolor piece. After I popped the dogs up with foam tape. I then realized they were missing something. Which is when I stamped, colored and fussy cut the ball. And finally I glued the ball onto one of the dogs. The last piece is the sentiment. Which I die cut. Then stamped and applied embossing powder onto. With the embossing powder on, I put the rest back in the bottle. And then I used my heat embossing gun and glued that piece onto the card.
