Sparkle Days

Howdy!

Today's card is being entered into the following challenges:
#SSSIGCHALLENGE - Spring Has Sprung
CAS Watercolour March 2020 Challenge - the sun and the rainbow used a watercolor technique
The Library Challenge 55 - How to Embroider Almost Anything - stitching on the cover inspired the stitched cloud embossing
My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 481
Festive Friday Challenge #FF0055 - used a rainbow, sequins, and glitter (heat embossing)

How to Embroider Almost Everything

For today's card I started out by embossing (with an embossing folder) some white cardstock. And then I cut the cardstock down the middle so I could fit in the rainbow. The rainbow was cut to 1/4" strips. I took each strip and ink smooshed them with corresponding rainbow colors. If you visit my YouTube channel you can learn another way to ink smoosh. I also ink smooshed the sun. As for the sentiment, that was stamped and heat embossed. Then I put the card together by using adhesive strips as the medium to piece the card together. When it came to decorating the front of the card I used a few die cut clouds and sequins.

Stamps: MFT Meant to Sparkle
Paper: Canson XL Watercolor Paper, CTMH Vellum, White Daisy
Ink: Versamark Dazzle Frost, Tim Holtz Distress ink Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Candied Apple
