Simon Says: Anything Goes

Have you been playing along with The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge? I have and it's been great motivation. This is my 28th day of participating in the challenge.

For the little fox, I used colored pencils. I must admit that I had to color him twice. You see my regular technique is to color the whole image and then go back to do blending. But, that didn't work out so good the first time. So instead, I had to color each segment and then blend before going on to the next color. When the little fox was done, I brought out my alcohol marker to color in the shadow. As for the sentiment. Once I placed in onto the card next to the fox.  I thought it needed something more so I brought out my Sharpie pen and doodled.

Happy Crafting,

  1. This is probably my favorite because the fox is so cute. [Bunny]

    1. Thank you! I had fun coloring him in. My technique for him was to color a certain area like his ears. Then blend. And move on to other portions following those steps.

  2. Another cute image and design. I like the added shadow with the marker, it really makes a difference to the dimension. Thank you for joining us again at Cardz 4 Galz xx Lynda DT

  3. A super card, loving your little fox. Thanks for joining us at Cardz 4 Galz. Caz. DT.
