Baby Card

Howdy!

Today over at the Make My Monday challenge blog. We have a NEW challenge it's to create something For a Baby!!! Hope y'all have a chance to play along with us!

You never know when you'll need a baby card! So that is what I created today!

This card is all about die cutting and a bit of stamping. When you are creating a baby card, it is important to use pastel colors. And as I do not know who will be receiving this card, I chose to go with a neutral palette. So yes, there is pink and blue but also green and purple. And the card base is kraft cardstock.

Stamps: TAC Trendy Greetings
Paper: CTMH White Daisy, Kraft, Lilac, Glacier, Bashful, Sweet Leaf
Ink: CTMH Nutmeg
Accessories: Park Lane Woodgrain embossing folder, QuicKutz Metro Alphabet dies, Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics B

A complete list of the supplies is under the picture. The list, contains compensated affiliate links. If you wish to create a similar card. There is no cost to you for using the links. But it does provide funds to help continue this blog.

Inspired by Artwork

Howdy Y'all!

Mary Ellen here from Creative Time With ME! In the Online Card Class Spring Card Camp 2 that I am taking we were encouraged to create a card using die cuts or stamps in an unconventional way. But I needed a bit of inspiration to do that. Which is how I found this art piece on Amazon.

This is my interpretation of the piece.

Paper: CTMH White Daisy, Black, Pewter, Juniper, Glacier, Goldrush, Canary
Accessories: Bic Mark-it Ultra Fine Point Tuxedo Black, Spellbinders Nested Pennants, QuicKutz Nesting Circles

I have created a video to share with you on how I created this card!

Supplies used (not listed under the card picture)
Tim Holtz Scissors & Snips - Kushgrip Non-Stick Serrated Scissors Mini Snips 5"
Fiskars 12 Inch Portable Rotary Paper Trimmer

The Nice List

Howdy!

Today's card is being entered into the following challenges:
Paper Smooches Anything Goes
Christmas with the Cuties Challenge No #35 Theme: ANYTHING (Christmas) GOES WITH OPTIONAL CLEAN AND SIMPLE
The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge # 66 - Anything Christmas Goes

This is my Day 4 coloring project for The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

For this card, I started out by stamping both on the card and on a Post-It. I took the stamped image on the Post-It to create a mask. I also took some acetate sheet and cut it down to A2 card size, to create a mask. After that I took the acetate sheet to create a mask by die cutting a circle out. Then I colored the Santa with my colored pencils. After I was done coloring, I used my Fantastix and baby oil to blend out the penicl. I then used the Post-It note mask to cover up Santa on the cardstock. And then put the mask over the cardstock. I then brought out my makeup brush and Mint ink. Once the ink blending was done. I then stamped my sentiment and die cut it into a fishtail flag shape. Then I put that piece over some black scrap and fussy cut out a fishtail flag. And followed that up by using some scrap to cut out the tree. For the tree, I rubbed some darker green color ink. Once done, I glued the sentiment and tree onto the cardstock.

Stamps: Paper Smooches Santa Paws
Paper: CTMH White Daisy
Ink: CTMH Intense Black, Mint
