OK, so I took this card sketch from the MFT blog, Wednesday Sketch Challenge 469. SI was too late to submit this card for that challenge though. But, I am submitting this card for the TGIF Challenges blog, the challenge is to do a Product Spotlight on Foil.
Stamps: MFT Cozy Mittens |
Paper: CTMH White Daisy |
Ink: Dylusions Ink Spray London Blue, White Linen, Vibrant Turquoise, CTMH Raspberry, White Daisy, VersaMark Dazzle |
Accessories: Nuvo Gilding Flakes Silver, Spellbinders Shapeabilities Create-A-Flake Four, SU! Bitty Banners, Ranger Embossing Powder White, M. Graham & Co. Acrylic Paint Titanium White |
This card uses a couple of different techniques. The first is masking, I stamped and cut out the glove on the left. Then if you've visited my blog before you'll notice that I did my favorite technique. Which is using spray inks. After I had stamped the glove onto the card base and covered it with the mask, which was a Post-It.
The third technique I did was a two step process. First, I took a scrap of white daisy cardstock. And then I ran it through my Xyron machine, twice. This allowed the cardstock to be sticky so that it would take the Gilding Flakes. It also allowed it to remain sticky so that I could die cut the snowflakes and apply them.
A complete list of the supplies is under the picture. The list, contains compensated affiliate links. If you wish to create a similar card. There is no cost to you for using the links. But it does provide funds to help continue this blog.
Thank you for stopping by!
Happy Crafting,
M.E.
